What to expect:
Your first physical therapy session will include a thorough orthopedic evaluation and introduction to treatment. At Coastline Physical Therapy & Performance, our goal is to quickly identify the cause of your symptoms and apply manual therapy techniques to resolve your pain, improve your health, and get you back to doing the activities you want, as soon as possible. Coastline will also provide you with a home exercise program and Healigo, a mobile technology to help you stay on track with recovery.
While the frequency and number of visits will vary by patient, treatment sessions are typically 1-2x/week for a total of 5-8 visits.
We ask that first time patients arrive 15 minutes early and wear loose activewear.
Coastline Physical Therapy is an out-of-network provider. As such, Dr. Oliver is able to tailor a care plan that best suites your needs -- with maximum flexibility and without third party limitations. Your physical therapy experience will be based on 1-on-1 attention and individualized treatment. Unfortunately, insurance-driven physical therapy can often lead to double booked appointments, less time with your therapist, limited service options, even the denial of treatment. By utilizing an out-of-network provider like Coastline, you’ll experience a unique approach that often results in faster recovery, less total visits per week, and less overall cost.
Please note, those seeking out-of-network treatment may still qualify for a reimbursement! If you call your insurance company and ask “what are my out of network physical therapy benefits?” you may be eligible to receive a partial reimbursement directly from your insurance company. Coastline will provide you with a bill containing all the necessary information you would need to submit for reimbursement.
Providing payment upfront isn’t as expensive as you might think! You’ll see your pain resolved faster and more efficiently, with less time spent traveling to clinical visits. Reach out to Coastline to learn more about how we can save you money in the long run!
No Referral Required:
Maine and California are “direct access” states meaning that a prescription or a referral is not required. This eliminates extra steps, such as waiting for a doctor’s office visit, allowing the patient to begin treatment faster. You can contact us today to schedule an appointment.
We accept workers comp cases. If you’ve been injured at work and have filed a claim, contact us to get started on your path toward your recovery!
